30 day No Contact Rule: No player will allowed to play with any other player, coach(except own parent) or any other parent of player from any organized basketball team which they have played or practiced with after Nov. 1st. (Even if they attend the same school) If you are on the roster of an AAU or any other Comp team, you are not eligible to play in this recreational league. (see your coach or email us for clarification)
Each team provides one parent to Scorer's table - White team will keep clock and score. Blue team will keep track of fouls. (may switch positions if both agree)
Each team appoints a team parent for snack schedule and other league activities
GAME RULES: No Backcourt Defense Man to Man defense only - no zone defense 20 min. running clock per half. Official timeout at 10 min. (for subs) 1 additional timeout per half per team. 5 min. halftime Even playing time for all Foul shots - non shooting fouls = ball out of bounds until 7th team foul in half shooting fouls = 3rd/4th = 1 point awarded until 7th team foul - 5th/6th 1point awarded and 1 free throw. 7th team foul, one and one for regular fouls 7th team foul, 1 point awarded and one shot for shooting fouls Mercy rule - Scoreboard shows no more than 10 point lead. If losing team catches up, score is added back.
